This was taken at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in San Bruno. The weather could not be more perfect! Dave and Nancy had a blast on their big day. The vibrant new couple was game to take photos from every angle. They ended off the evening with lots of sparklers and cheering from all their family and friends. We definitely had a great time.

Emerging Artist Photoshoot
This was a photoshoot for Joseph Velasquez, a musician and saxophone player for his album cover. I wanted to make the shots contemporary and hip. We went to different areas in the peninsula to take these shots. We were fortunate enough to have great lighting in a fairly busy area. I liked that he brought his saxophone during the shoot as it added some character to the photos. Even though it was an important piece to represent Joe, I still wanted him to be the focus and star of the shoot. There are some shots where the saxophone is the focus, but it is Joe who is represented in these pictures.

Shane & Wendy's Engagement Shoot
This was a fun engagement shoot. We all went up to San Francisco and decided to take it at the de Young Museum. It was a truly beautiful spot. The challenge: how to show intimacy between Shane and Wendy w/o any kisses (they're saving their first kiss on their wedding day). It was their first time posing together with a camera capturing their every step. I would say at the end of the day, we were able to capture that intimacy and closeness! Roger and Val were a great help too. They made it easier for me and Violeta to focus on Shane & Wendy instead of the equipment, parking, and gear we had to carry. We look forward to capturing your big day in May!
